《神は、わたしたちの内に住まわせた霊を、ねたむほどに愛しておられる》ではなく
《霊は　ねたみにおいて　切望している》というかたち。

φθόνος phthonos　= envy
ἐπιποθέω epipotheō = to lust, yearn

Jam 4:5( King James Version) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

４：５の《霊（プネウマ・ルーアハ）》につく関係節は　ギリシャ語で　この霊が主語。つまり《われわれの内に宿る霊》。
しかもそのヘブル語訳では　対格目的語になっている。つまり《〔神が〕われわれの内に宿らせた霊》。
